Carthenon began in 2019 with a straightforward observation: many people visiting Singapore wanted access to well-maintained vehicles without the complications often associated with car rentals. We set out to create a service that emphasized clarity, quality, and respectful interaction.
Our founder, having spent years working with automotive importers and high-end dealerships across Southeast Asia, understood the difference between merely renting a car and providing a vehicle that truly enhances someone's experience. This insight shaped our early direction. Rather than building an extensive fleet of varying quality, we focused on acquiring fewer vehicles that we could maintain to exacting standards.
